Let’s talk about a super messy launch

And why the same one is smooth sailing now

Last summer, I started with a new client mid-launch.

She'd already opened the cart by the time I started with her - I was really just jumping in wherever I could help.

And oh my were things messy at the start. There was not a firm open or close cart date. There was no real enrollment sequence set up. Emails were going out reactively instead of through any plan.

And something I want to be super clear about here: none of this was her fault.

She just didn't have the time or capacity to plan it while also running her business and showing up for her clients and her audience and her family… you know, all of the things.

And that is exactly why she needed someone to come in and help her. But that first launch together, it was totally flying by the seat of our pants.

Fast forward to now. I still work with that client and we're launching that same program for the third time since last summer. And it is a completely different experience!

Here’s why:

We're not reinventing the wheel. This isn't the first rodeo for this offer, so we have data on our side. We know what worked, what didn't, where people dropped off. While we're not sending the same emails or putting out the same posts - we do at least already have a structure for these. And we can refresh and revamp rather than starting from a completely blank page.

We gave ourselves a long enough runway. Her program launches in the fall. We started planning at the end of July. That space matters!! It's not just a buffer for the logistics. It's time for her to actually be creative. Time to rewrite the emails so they feel fresh instead of recycled. Time to think through the messaging she actually wants to put into the world this round. Time for us to make upgrades to the enrollment process based on exactly what we learned last time.

Unfortunately, none of that actually happens if you're planning a launch the week before cart opens.

So here is your reminder: If a fall launch is on your calendar, August is your last easy month to get the plan in place. This is how you turn a chaotic, unorganized launch into something that actually feels calm and doable.

The version of my client from last summer and the version of her right now are wildly different. She actually has space this time to really connect with her audience, the offer and how she wants to show up in this launch.

If you're standing where she was last summer - offer in hand, launch coming, but no real structure to build it inside of - I built the Sold Out Launch System exactly for you. It's the full framework: every step of your launch mapped out, a place to track your financials and your leads, space to plan your content, all of it in one dashboard instead of scattered across your brain.

Give yourself the runway. Future you launching in the Fall will be so glad you did.
